Dave and Aly welcome you to Gromaine Cottage B&B. Our Bed and Breakfast is situated alongside the River Wye excellent for fishing , within easy reach of Builth Wells with the Royal Welsh Showground, which holds many events throughout the year. There is also the Wyeside Arts Centre. We are also on the Wye Valley way and cycle route number 8.

Here is a cheerful and friendly place to rest your weary feet. All our rooms our well maintained, comfortable and ensuite. We include a great cooked breakfast with your stay. The surrounding area is a place of Scientific Interest, home to otters, kingfishers, kites and other wildlife.

We are close to  Brecon and The Brecon Beacons National Park, a place of outstanding natural beauty, and also very convenient for Hay-on-Wye, the famous ‘Town of Books’.

The Bed and Breakfast is close to the stunning Elan Valley and the Kite feeding Centre, which are both well worth seeing.

We are also only just over an hour from Cardiff, Wales capital city.

Choice of rooms

We have 3 lovely ensuite rooms, a twin, double and family room.

Plenty of secure storage space

We can store practically anything, from walking gear, fishing equipment (including freezer space), mountain bikes, canoes and even motorbikes. The room has drying facilities on the occasion it may rain!

Freedom

You are free to come and go as you please. The whole family can enjoy our landscaped garden. There is plenty of room to relax and play games. We also allow your dogs to roam freely in our garden, but unfortunately cannot have them in the rooms.
